The Making of Bergdorf’s Holiday Windows

The Making of Bergdorf’s Holiday Windows

I really enjoyed reading “The Making of Bergdorf’s Holiday Display Windows.” I learned all about John Gordon Gauld’s steps when creating one of Bergdorf’s displays. It’s interesting to find out that you’re really not finished when a display is finished. Bergdorf and his crew go straight into designing the next display. I think it’s a great experience to have the opportunity to work on one of Bergdorf’s displays, based on Gordon’s perspective. You learn a lot even if you know everything. The whole designing of a window is a learning experience itself. What I found most interesting is the last process when everything falls together. Not everyone has the same job during every window display and it’s great to have everyone’s ideas incorporated into Bergdorf’s display. I found this article to be very informational and inspiring. I would definitely like to have an opportunity to study one of Bergdorf’s displays in person.
